Yesterday Mel, Tasha and I hiked the Gore Creek Trail to take a day off from spinning and to try to hunt down a rare flower called the Fairy Slipper.

These Aquilegia Formosa AKA Red Columbine grows in grow really well in moist alpine meadow environments.

The hard as Hell to find Fairy Slipper. I personally think this flower looks like a Evil Rabbit!

Look at this hunk! Len showing his blue steal behind the grill. What a great quick Denver weekend getaway. Mel and I hooked up with Len and Dan in Evergreen for a epic bike ride. Afterwards grilling out at Len's house then finishing up the night at sweet action ice cream shop! Happy Memorial Day.
