Today mel and I got to ride Vail pass for the first time of this season.
The weather was, like the hole week, GREAT !

Yesterday Melanie and I drove down to Eagle to ride some quality dirt.

We ended up spending the rest of the day on the cruiser.

The first full day in Moab Mel and I drove to Negro Canyon for our first hike.

The was the scenic bypass for those who dared to get the the island of the sky from Moab.

During one of our hikes we could see some Jeep's across the canyon doing the unthinkable.
It was worth it, after all that work attempting to set up the hammock at our campsite.

The weather in Vail has been pretty crappy out lately. One minute it's snowing, next hailing followed by more snow. Here's a picture from my place of Vail and whats rest of the snow.
Tonight we pack for our little trip to Moab Utah. Here's Tasha getting all excited about the trip with here doggy pack.

Today Melanie and I rode thirty miles of beautiful bike paths from Copper Mountain to Breckenridge ski resorts.

Today Melanie and I went for a little road ride down and around town. During our ride we saw many kayakers taking advantage of the crazy snowmelt.
After the ride we had a European style lunch on the sunny deck of the Alpenrose restaurant

Yesterday Dan and I drove to Aspen to road ride up Independence Pass (12,095 feet). After climbing about 17.5 miles we hit a wall of snow shortening us about a mile from the top. Next we do it the pass it will be officially opened to cars and we will ride it from one side to another.

Today Melanie and I drove to Frisco to hike the North side of the Ten Mile Trail.

Last Saturday Melanie and I took our new cruiser bike for a spin around town.
Last Friday Mel and I dusted the bikes off to hit the dirt of Edwards.

Mel and I have been road riding so much since she's gotten the road bike.
The roads in Vail have been experiencing mud slides because of the extended snow falls.
