Yesterday was a guys day out on the trail. We rode the lost lake to buffer creek. Left to right; Sandman, Me, Dave, Erik, Chris, Dan, Jeff D and of course Jamie.
Last Monday Melanie and I drove a couple hours south east to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was amazing seeing North Americas highest sands dunes at almost 800 feet.
Yesterday after work Mel and I went up to Eagle Nest for the Friday Afternoon Club. We got to play a little volley ball with friends and also watch one of the best sunsets of the summer.
Two Fridays ago was my roommate Nicks going away party at FAC. Nick now lives in Boulder Colorado with his girlfriend Jen pursuing his meteorology degree. We all will miss you!!!!!!!!
Here is a picture of Mel and I at the top of Quandary peak at 14,271 feet. Today we decided we wanted to take advantage of the dry weather. So we drove up just pass Breckenridge ski resort to hike up this mountainside.
Today after work Melanie, Tasha and I went to Ford Park to have a little fun in the sand. The weather turned over a little bit so we headed over to Altitudes for some wings and beers.
This morning before work Melanie, Tasha and I hiked up the Berry Picker trail to the top of Vail mountain. I did Tasha a favor and brought her favorite frisbee toy. So on every open hillside Tasha ran back down the hill making the hike times two.
Yesterday me and the MTB wrecking crew packed our bags and headed to southern Colorado to ride probably the biggest epic of the season. The ride takes us on a scenic 40 mile tour on the Continental Divide trail in crazy patterns. This picture was taken from the car on the way to Monarch Pass.
Last Tuesday I took Melanie up Vail mountain, but to the backside for the first time. The trail is called the Grand Traverse in which it crosses over some of the back bowls of Vail mountain.
Today Me, myself and I went for solo man bike ride all over Vail mountain. Unfortunately it was a weekend ride, so there were bikers and hikers in larger than normal amounts all over the Vail mountain.
Today after work I drove over to my friend Todd's house in west Vail for a little 101 on camera sensor cleaning. After all was learned Tasha and I drove up to the top of Vail pass for a little hike on Shrine Ridge.
I love photography! My wife and I are in the process of launching our own photography career. I work for Todd Winslow Pierce who is a pro photographer here in Vail Colorado. The concept of how I see light has been taught through Todd and the mentors who's influenced him. Through my personal vision and athletic ability I want to showing people how I see translated into a picture. Translating my angle of vision into a picture really is rewarding to me. And I hope in the future I can do the same for you. Stay tuned with my blogger and I will have my new website stocked with great photo's.
