Today Dan and I took the sleds up and out of Vail Pass to find a way to Vail's Blue Sky Basin.  After doing two steep hill climbs out of Lime creek we finally made it!

Today Dan, Melanie and I took the sleds up into the mountains of Red and White.  The weather was warm yet there was still plenty of snow to go around.  We're not done with winter yet!!!!

Last Sunday was the last day of Vail's Ski Resort.  The weather was sunny and warm, perfect for the pond skimming event pictured here.
Mel and I met up with Nick, Jen and Bill for some La Cantina before the concert.
The best part of the last day of Vail was the O.A.R concert in the village

Good Morning Vail!!! at 6:30am
Vail will be celebrating it's last day of the season with pond skimming, grill out in Blue Sky, Funny costumes, and the OAR concert.  Vail finished it's season with a 72" mid mountain base with a grand total of 437" of snow!!!!!  I guess we can't really complain.

Yesterday Melanie and I sledded up to the cabin to grill out some lunch and to fix up a old sled.  The weather turned out to be great and still lot's of snow in the hood.
Our mission for today was to install new clutch belt and dig out the sled that was left behind.
Yeah the old sled needs some love
