I think I can get use of this layed back life style out here in Kauai. Here's some snapshots from the first couple days.

Reality finally just set in! After 9 hours of flying Melanie and I made it to Kauai late last night. I'll try not to make whoever is on this blog jealous, but I'm just the Photographer taking the picture.

Yesterday early morning we headed out to Denver to start our trip to Kauai!!!!!! Temperatures between Copper Mountain and Frisco dropped to -4 degrees. I managed to snap a shot here at lake Dilion off a trucker exit. I was one of many people taking pictures of the misty lake that cold morning.

Last night Mel, Carolin and I hung out with friends for some good times.

Just found out last night that there are no pumpkins in Germany. So I had to teach mel a little pumpkin 101.

Today I got out along the creek for a late day photo session. Here's a fly fisherman in the cold waters of the Gore Creek.

Today was day 1 in our winter riding adventure. Left to right; Melanie, Me, Nick, Spencer and Lee on our beer brat break. The sun finally came out, a little real snow on fake and great friends to hang out with. Big shout out's to Jeff and lindsay, Ryan Metzler, and Nicole Baur wish you were here!!!

Most the Aspen leaves in Vail has fallen off. Here's a picture of a small pond in East Vail's golf course this afternoon.

Here's picture of the coast line of Twin Lakes just on the other side of the pass from Aspen. Today was a perfect opportunity for Melanie and I to stop over in Aspen to check out Peter Lik's Fine art Photo gallery.
