So here I am after a day of unexpectance. Nick, Crippler, and I planned to ride Beaver Creek today. But that did not happen for me because Jamie got really sick today at work and had to go to the hospital. So I covered Jamie last minute to work the day shift. As the plot thickened Jamies wife Kim also went to the hospital for so funky symptoms. So after I got out of work I dropped my bike off at the shop then went to get Jamie some reading materials for his death bed ( he's better). As far as V-Day I spent it with Tasha at my place while we watched TV and the snowstorm out the window. Tomorrow early morning Dan and I drive to Denver to pickup a nice black Mercedes.
Today Jamie and I took off from the Mtn of snow and took it to the Gym to do some rock climbing. Fortunately we got to meet up with Jeff Damico to help us with the way of the wall. Today I got to lead climb for the first time, which I hopfully will be applying to up coming summer. Jamie tweaked his bad knee up again so he'll be on the DL again.

When I woke up this morning the temperatures were so cold that I decided to stay indoors. Dan decided to duke it out in Beaver Creek with his girlfriend and her family.
Here's some frost that formed on the inside of our door this morning.
Here a profile view of a snowplowed area of the soccer fields in Edwards.

Tasha and I spent a while playing frisbee on astro turf in Edwards this afternoon.
Last night Jamie, Nick, Len, and I went to Pazzo's Pizzaria to eat some Pizza, and watch some Olympic coverage. And yes thats Jamies 5th slice of Pie.

Today after I got out of work Len, Nick, and I went snowboard. My binding ended up breaking after a few runs, so Len and I ended up chill'in on the sun deck of Eagles Nest.

Today Len and I worked our way over to East Vail to ride some Pow. I measured the snow with my probe and it read exactly 9 feet of snow. That means a serious Powder day in the Backcountry.
After we hiked up to the top of Benchmark of East Vail OB, the elevation is around 11,835ft. When we get to the bottom we end around 8,200ft. Sweet Vertical of over 3 G's !
