Yesterday was a big day of riding with my friends and I. Couples trip; Eric, Janet, Mel and I teamed up for a two night trip up in the mountains of Monarch pass Colorado. The big ride being Monarch Pass Trail offered great views and good crashes on our mountain bikes.
Melanie and Janet getting ready for the big ride at the campsite.
After the four mile climb up the road from our campsite we stretched out before we offically started our ride
Our expectations were overwelmed when we got to the dirt.
Melanie really liked what she saw
Eric bombing down the single track
The single track of the Colorado Trail was like a dream.
The landscape we approached up top of Monarch Pass was so desolate.
It's all fun and games until Jeff' get's a flat
Part of the ride included a wet stream ride to cool us off!
The day was really getting long and we were nearing the end of the trail back to the car in Poncho Springs.
After being in the saddle for 41 miles all we wanted to do is grille and chill! Here I am splitting some wood for the fire.

Here's James Mccotter pulling off a 5-0 grind in Edwards Skate park at night. Thanks to my employer TWP for the wireless output for my outdoor photo shoot!
I don't think Melanie was to excited with my photo shoot with her!
Despite Mel being tired and bored I made her be my poser.
