Today Len and I rode over in Keystone Ski Resort. The slopes were ice and the crowds were in high volume. So Len and I decided to do a little hike up in the North Bowl of Keystone. the first part was really nice because of the fresh groomers to hike on. However the last half of it we had to boot pack it. The weather was so nice, warmer and sunnier than we predicted. By the time Len and I got to the top life got a huge upgrade.
During our traverse over to the drop in spot, we passed by some other nice drop ins.
Len and I taking one last break before we descended down after the long hike
As Len and I were dropping in from our hike we saw a bunch of old cabins off in the distance. So we decided to check it out and see if we could have a little over there.
After we checked out the old cabin I decided to make the first drop
Len taking a break a checking the scenery of the Rockies
Len ended his last drop in with a butter smooth landing
Len and I ended our back country segment with one last drop in!
The day ended with Len and I taking a few runs through Keystones famous Jib park
The day ended hitting some big money booters!

Tonight when Melanie and I got out of work we went for a midnight hike with Tasha up the North Trail. The Moon was out so we did not need our head lamps. After we heard some weird noises coming from up the mountain side Melanie and I decided to head back down to the trail head.

Yesterday Nick and I went to Copper to find out that they only got a few inches of snow. We still had fun riding park in some of Copper back bowls. At the end of the day I saw Shaun in the parking lot with his sweet One Piece. So here's a picture of the One'y of the day!

Today Tasha and I went to Copper Mountain. I met up with some locals and got to ride some really nice lines through some snowy stashes! There park was really nice but as far as launching the money booters, the visibility was to flat to make confident landings. Copper is expecting 13 to 19 inches of new Pow overnight on the flip Vail is only forecasting 4 to 5 inches. Tomorrow is my day off again so guess where I'll be tomorrow? POWDER DAY!!!!!!!
Lunch was really good in the nice warm lodge, away from the harsh outdoor elements.
Coppers dinning facilities was top notch!
After I was finished with Copper's Mountain, Tasha got to play with the other dogs in the skier Parking lot.
The drive back over the Vail pass was not as fast as I thought it would be.

Yesterday Tasha and I went to Leadville to finish our Christmas shopping and to get some food at Rosie's Brew Pub. However in the morning Melanie and I get a few turns before we had to do our thing.

So this morning Mel and I woke up to Jamie Rampaging the door to my place, after his 7am wake up call to ride a wana-be pow day! After our first run on the freezing cold Mtn we decided to warm up on a short hike up Ptarmigan Ridge. Here we are in this pic a top our hike on Vail Mtn. The weather was suppose to be overcast and miserable, however the elements turned on us the better way with blue bird sky's and semi perfect temp's. The day ended early with lunch at Garfinkels on the sunny decks of Lionshead. Let the fun begin!!!!!!!!!!!
